a fantasy and real world merger of similar substances.
One Definition for Elixir is: a “magical liquid" that can cure illness or extend life. While water alone cannot completely dispel impurities of the body, it certainly aids in the recovery process; not to mention those with water have a better chance of surviving long treks through the wilderness than those without. (Insert Desert Scenario where dehydration is the outcome here) and thus Water promotes a longer extended life that can aid in the curing of wounds.

And out of that logic “Elixer" was born. Word bending Eilxir and Water into one word. Elixer is a drink CPH will almost always have on their person when reenacting. It's Ingredients, simple: Water and food coloring. It’s Mission Statement: to rehydrate those not actively drinking water to aid in the repairing of tissue and organ abuse happening around the same time. Circa: Dec 2013
Elemental Awareness
It is said, the Greeks proposed the existence of the five basic elements. Of these, four were the physical elements—Earth, Fire, Air, and Water—of which the entire world is composed. Alchemists eventually associated four triangular symbols to represent these elements.
The fifth element, which goes by a variety of names, is more rarefied than the four physical elements. Some call it Spirit. Others call it Aether or Quintessence (literally "the fifth element" in Latin). Circa: Dec 2013
